Alec Bradley's Prensado was named as Cigar Aficionado's "Cigar of the Year" way back in 2011, but has been under the radar ever since -- Now the Prensado has been rediscovered by The Depot. In fact, it now has earned the prestigious title of The Depot's "Cigar of the Month."
Even though it's a bit pricey at $12.95, that's better than JR's $14.25 tag. With a relatively small ring gauge (46) and a modest price, it was easy for the Prensado to stay under the radar until now. But just one taste proves why it has earned The Depot's special award. Box-pressed in the Cuban tradition, our new smoke has a Corojo wrapper and a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco fillers and binder. Alec Bradley has some other first-raters besides the Prensado. They can be found on the top shelf of The Depot's newest humidor. For instance, Fire Chief John Sherne, who has been a long-time advocate of the off-brand Chubby Longs ($9.95), recently switched at least part of his loyalty to Alec Bradley's Maxx Freak ($8.45).
